C.B. Taylor, age 74 of Kennedy, passed away Friday June 28, 2019. There will be a memorial service Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley Chapel. C.B. Taylor born May 8th, 1945 to Charles Bradley and Lena Taylor. Passed away June 28th, 2019. Formally married to Betty White Taylor of Dry Creek, West Virginia. Survived by his daughter Audrey Taylor Brock (son-in-law Rusty, grandson Lane, and granddaughter Savannah) and his daughter Ashley Taylor Williams (son-in-law C. J., granddaughter Hailee, and grandson Wyatt), his brothers J. B. Taylor, Bonnie Taylor, and Elton Taylor and sisters Bea Shoulta and Linda Vinson all of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his son Joseph “Joey” Alan Taylor, father Charles Bradley Taylor, mother Lena Mae Taylor, and brother Everett Taylor. C.B. served for 4 years in the U. S. Navy. He also served 15 years in the Army National Guard. He worked with his hands his entire life, from farming with his grandfather, to his young adult life on the streets of Chicago, to his Body-and-Fender days at the City Body Shop. He raised his family the best he knew how. He was always willing to lend a hand to friends, family, and neighbors no matter the time-of-day or emergency. He only corrected those that he loved. He made his share of mistakes, and good choices. And he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on May 22nd, 2019.
