Dalton Kelley

Dalton J. Kelley, Sr. age 81 of Bankston, passed away Match 11, 2020. Services will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Shady Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Curry Bennett officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will Friday, March 13, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Sylvia Kelley; brother, Davis Kelley; and sister, Opal Lancaster. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Kelley; daughter, Judith Suzanne Bouchillon (Craig); son, Dalton Jerome Kelley, Jr. (Robin); sister, Iva Jewell Eley; brother, Bobby Kelley; grandchildren, Christopher Kelley, Benjamin Bouchillon, and Issac Bouchillon; and great-grandchildren, Brenleigh and Jaxon Bouchillon. Mr. Kelley was a longtime resident of Fayette County. He was formerly employed at Southern Natural Gas as a Division Superintendent. He started out of high school and went full time in 1958 and remained there until he retired in 1993. Pallbearers are Ben Bouchillon, Issac Bouchillon, Craig Bouchillon, Christopher Kelley, Jim Cabiness, and Kevin Edmonson. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church.
