Daniel Ray Holliman grew up outside of Belk and Kennedy, Alabama in a tight knit Family where neighbors were neighbors and much like family if not blood family. He had four brothers and three sisters making a total of eight, but much more counting the cousins and such. He always liked playing basketball, cars, and working on cars. Daniel even raced them at times. He became a mechanic and worked for a dealership for several years. Most of his life he worked in the woods, starting out hauling pulpwood then moving up to logs. When it became hard to find timber, he started working for Alfred Taylor’s crew which grew to be part of our family as well. It took him some time to receive Jesus as his Lord and Savior but once he did, he tried to live every day to bring honor and glory to Jesus. He loved the Lord and it was evident to all that knew him. He will be missed Dearly by his Family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Holliman, James Holliman, Hunter Holliman, Stanley Crowell, Alfred Taylor, and Terrell Stripling.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Dean Strickland, Staff of Hospice of West Alabama, and Timmy Strickland.
