David Dee Watkins

David Dee Watkins, age 73 of Winfield, formerly of Fayette County, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at DCH. Services will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Watkins was preceded in death by his parents, Berla Strickland and Thurman Watkins and four brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, David Derek Watkins and Darien Dee Watkins, Kelly James Watkins, Angela Dee Keres and Troy Marvin Watkins; sisters, Barbara Watkins Permenter and Shirley Ann Watkins Pendley; his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. David was born and lived most of his life in Berry but has lived in Winfield for the past year. He was a Vietnam Army veteran.
