Erania Redmond

Erania Redmond, age 70 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Services will be Friday, August 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Public viewing will be Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Redmond. Mrs. Redmond is survived by her son, James Sherman Redmond of Tuscaloosa; three grandsons, James Chancelor Redmond, Kobe Denzel Redmond, Jordan Shamar Redmond; one uncle, Tommy Meeks (Sallie) of Fayette; Godson, Dwayne Jones; a special nephew, Mark Redmond; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends, Fred Payne and Ted Payne. Mrs. Redmond was a lifelong resident of Fayette. She worked as an inspector for Garments Plants. She enjoyed taking care of the elderly and did home health care for several families. She was a homemaker and cared for her husband, James H. Redmond until his death in 1986.
