Fondee Doughty, Jr.

Fondee J. Doughty, Jr. age 73 of Fayette passed away October 20, 2018 at DCH Medical Center.  Services will be Friday, October 26, 2018 at New Friendship Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Charlie Humphry officiating.  The body will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Doughty; parents, Fondee and Gracie Doughty; son, Kelvin Lee Doughty; two grandchildren, Jeffery Speigner, Jr., and Matthew Doughty; brothers, James Smith and Bill Smith; sisters, Mandy Jane Hollis and Mamie Lee Smith. Mr. Doughty is survived by his children, Patricia Poe (Darry), Wilma Dillard (James), Brenda Speigner, Wanda Doughty, Charleston Doughty (Lisa), Tracy Doughty (LaKesha), and Tamika Agnew (Shane); grandchildren, Angela, Amanda (Brian), Tyler, Alyssa, Joshua, Jalen, Jacob, Kaitlin, Ty and Skylar; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kiley, and Bryson; brothers, L.C. Doughty (Ethel); and sisters, Betty Jean Sparks, Maxine Hayden, and Rosie Lee Hackman.
