Gloria Moore Jordan, age 69 of Tuscaloosa passed away October 31, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be today at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Lovett and Rev. Rod Poovey officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Visitation will one hour prior to the service at the church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Murray Chester Moore and Margaret Frances Moore and a brother, Denis Ray Moore. Survivors include her husband, William Holt Jordan Sr.; daughter, Miriam Margaret Jordan; sons, William Holt Jordan Jr. (Tonya) and Whitney Moore Jordan; brother, Murray Wane Moore (Judy); and grandson, Tanner Hughes. Gloria Jean graduated from the University of Alabama in Home Economics in 1970. She was multi-talented in her jobs at Gayfers, Real Estate, and multi-task assistant Sr. Adult Minister at Calvary Baptist Church. But her highest love was for her children and grandson Tanner. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Sr. Adult Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church. Donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or to Hospice of West Alabama.
