Herbert Dunkley

Herbert Dunkley, age 93, of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Services will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fayette Memorial Gardens. Mr. Dunkley was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Coates. He is survived by his wife, Nealie Dunkley; daughter, Lauren Dunkley; stepdaughter, Linda Wilson; step grandson, Brian Wilson (Sonya); siblings, Hertense Sewell, Colette Coates, Freddie Coates, Alges Coates, and Shirley Dunkley; and step great-grandson, Brian Wilson II. Mr. Dunkley was a labor foreman for fifty years at Wire Associates located in Wyandanch, NY. He met his wife in 1969 and they were married May 23rd, 1998.
