Icie Mae Parr Logan, age 86 of Berry, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Fayette Long Term Care. Services will be Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Pastors Larry Woods and Rodney Ward officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Logan; parents, Richard and Lola Parr; sisters, Helen Mueller, Myrtle Watkins, and Judy Parr; granddaughter, Crystal Logan; grandson, Michael Miller; great grandson, Chris Clark; sons-in-law, Doil Knight and Thomas Hammack. Icie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Clark (Ray), Linda Clark (Patrick), Gail Miller (Jack), Sheran Hammack, and Shelia Knight; sons, Charles Logan (Becky) and Kenneth Logan (Doris); sisters, Ruthy Mauney, Mildred Pritchett, Marie Beckman, Bunny Kizzire, and Patty Elmore; brothers, Ray Parr and Jerry Parr; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Icie was a member of Berry Baptist Church. She had various occupations working in several cafés and restaurants in Fayette County over the years, she worked as a seamstress in garment industry, and in her later years was a loving sitter to many families in Fayette County. Pallbearers are Stephen Clark, Barry Clark, Randall Clark, Blake Clark, Jeff Miller, and Greg Logan. Honorary pallbearers are Fayette Long Term Care nurses and staff, and Alabama Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fayette Long Term care and/or Alabama Hospice Care.
