Ilene Wyers, age 70 of Bankston, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020. Services will be Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Haygood officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Bankston Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Willcutt and Eva Doss; sisters, Paulie Clark, Betty Miller, Bobbie Mayfield, Audi Johnson, and Annette Jones; and brother, Orville Willcutt. Mrs. Wyers is survived by her husband, Junior Lee Wyers; daughters, Stephanie Gurley (Alan Vice), Joanna McKinley (Rusty), and Sundra Stough (Dean); sister, Glenda Podmore; grandchildren, Dylan James Gurley, Ryan McKinley, Tyler Stough (Lydia), Megan Kennedy (Rilee), Hunter Stough, Austin Stough, and Destiny Stough; and great-grandchild, Hannah Lee Stough. Mrs. Ilene Wyers was born in Marion County on March 20, 1950. She attended Brilliant High School. She later married Junior Lee Wyers and they were married for 46 years. Mrs. Wyers loved to bake, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved everyone she met. She worked hard all her life to help provide for her family. Pallbearers are Dylan Gurley, Rilee Kennedy, Tyler Stough, Dean Stough, Alan Vice, and Rusty McKinley. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Rogers and Jim Mayfield.
