Jamey Aaron

Jamey Aaron, age 41 of Berry, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. Services will be Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family asks, when you attend the visitation and/or service please wear a mask and practice social distancing. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Aaron; and grandparents, Bill and Opal Bailey. Mr. Aaron is survived by his fiancé, Jennifer O’Mary; sons, Sean Evan Aaron of Fayette and Christopher Blaine Aaron of Fayette; parents, Roger and Linda Aaron of Fayette, grandparents, Evelyn Aaron of Jasper; sister, Kellie Aaron of Fayette; brothers, John B. Aaron (Tina) of Fayette and Brandon K. Aaron of Jasper; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jamey loved family, fishing, Auburn and Fayette County football. Jamey was disabled from an accident at his work and spent the last three or four years in and out of the hospital. Several surgeries, several different wound treatments and casting to stabilize his injury. After all this, Jamey never once complained. Jamey was happy when making a fishing trip plan, going to a football game, or just talking to family or friends on the phone. Jamey would call and tell you about something he saw or heard about and say "I just wanted to tell you that." Life was not complicated or a grind to Jamey, he had life figured out. Jamey, we will miss and love you always, I just wanted to tell you that. Pallbearers are Klint Barton, Matthew Capps, Scott Hill, Austin O’Mary, Wesley O’Mary, and John Blackwell. Honorary pallbearers are Aaron Harris, Marion O’Mary, Kiley Barton, James Stanford, Brandon Logan, Josh Aaron, Kristen McPherson, and Rick Handley.
