Jeb Curtis Bonner, age 46, beloved father, son, and brother, passed away August 15, 2021, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 17, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Bubba Massey officiating; Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service. Family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mr. Bonner was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Horace Cecil Bonner, Jr., and Deborah Lightsey Bonner on March 23, 1975, and spent his formative years in Tuscaloosa. Mr. Bonner attended the University of Alabama receiving a B.S. degree. Mr. Bonner was an avid sportsman and loved tennis and Alabama sports, especially Alabama football. He was a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial Services and dearly loved his clients. One of Mr. Bonner’s clients said he was the “kindest, most gentle” man who was passionate about everything he did. His warmth and dedication for life will be missed by those whose lives he blessed each day with his positivity and friendship. He had a heart of gold, and his love was boundless. Mr. Bonner was preceded in death by his father, Horace Cecil Bonner, Jr., his grandparents Lanelle and Raymond Lightsey and Cecil and Orlean Bonner. He is survived by his son, Ty James Bonner, his mother, Deborah Bonner, his stepmother, Eloise Bonner, his sister, Nikki Bonner Franks and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Active pallbearers will be Josh Ussery, Doug Simpson, Shawn Walker, Morrow Thomley, Max Karrh, Brian Hoggle, Josh Wakefield, and Caleb Lightsey. Honorary pallbearers are Rusty Howard and all his beloved clients with Ameriprise Financial Services.
