Jerry Madison

Jerry Madison, age 66 of Berry AL, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Fayette DCH. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Berry Freewill Baptist Church, at 2:00 p.m. There will be a visitation one hour prior to service time on Thursday. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Kenneth Bozeman will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father; Charlie Madison, and grandparents; Thomas and Nettie Lee Madison, and Dan and Willie Watkins.

He is survived by his sister; Jo Ann (Jimmy) Hocutt, stepsister; Connie Hollis, brothers; Charles (Janet) Madison, and Gilbert (Marsha) Madison, half-brothers; Scott Madison, and Brent Madison, and mother; Loretta Dunn.

Jerry was loved by all who knew him. He never met a stranger. Jerry helped many people that were in need. He cared for his family, especially his precious mother. He was such an uplifting person. Everyone he met always felt better from his cheerful presence.

Jerry was a responsible person and never took off sick from his jobs. He worked many years at the Cotton Mill till it closed down. He wasted no time after the shut down and went to work at ZF Manufacturing in Tuscaloosa AL, where he retired at. Jerry will be missed dearly by his family and his many friends.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Logan, Dale Sanders, Walter Brister, Nicholas Madison, Braxton Madison, and Cody Hocutt.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Allen Kelly, Kevin Terry, Jeremy Madison, Jody Madison, Justin Madison, and Ben Madison.
