Jimmy Drew Pendley, age 85 of Berry AL, passed away on Wednesday, October 02, 2024, at DCH of Fayette AL. Services for Mr. Pendley will Saturday, October 05, 2024, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Adam Darty will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service. 

Jimmy is preceded in death by his children; Sharon Freeman, and James David Pendley, parents; Elton Pendley, and Audra Pendley, brother; Sammie Pendley, and sisters; Dorthy Nell Sands, and Katie Gilreath. 

He is survived by his wife; Shirley Watkins Pendley, sons; Steve Pendley, and Randall (Kali) Pendley, brothers; Bob (Sue) Pendley, and Jacky Pendley, sisters; Bonnie Bozeman, Juanita (Gary) Williams, Linda (Louis) Vice, and Patricia Gilliam, grandchildren; Ken Freeman, Lana Freeman, Lance Pendley, Myah Meadows, Dexter (Anna) Stanley, Chelsea (Riley) Stone, Phylicia Wilson, and Katlyn Moore, great-grandchildren; Rachel Freeman, Haley Brasher, Riley Brasher, Kayson Curington, Harrison Benefield, Remmi Moore, Waylon Stone, Colton Stanley, Avery Stanley, Addison Wilson, Tanner Wilson, Tucker Wilson, and Amarion Prewitt, and great-great grandchildren, Sawyer Davis, and Jace Lee. 

Jimmy Drew Pendley was born on June 17, 1939, in Berry AL. He graduated high school at Berry High School in 1959. After graduating high school, he went on to be in the Army for 2 years, and then was on the Berry National Guard for many years. He married the love of his life, Shirley Pendley in 1959, where they raised and loved tight Knit family. Jimmy logged for many years but is known for working in the mines. He had many different hobbies where he loved to coach football and baseball, and during the time off from that he loved to go fishing. Jimmy will be missed dearly by his family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Johnny Norris, Doug Westbrook, Randall Simmons, Kenneth Freeman, Ken Freeman, and Riley Stone.
