Joe Frost

Joe Frost, of Fayette, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his residence. Services will be Friday, June 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Ray officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 10, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Berry City Cemetery. Mr. Frost was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Joe Frost and Myrtle Handley Frost; and his half-sister, Leora Jo Frost. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Lollar Frost; daughters, Kristi Nicole Fulmer (Thomas) and Jessica Suzanne Frost (Mike); brother, Bill Frost (Debra); and grandchildren, Michaela JoAnn Dunn and Jaxon Eli Dunn. Mr. Frost graduated from Berry High School in 1976. He served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard in Alabama. Mr. Frost was also a supervisor while working at Dal-Tile Co. Mr. Frost loved all kinds of music and he loved to sing karaoke with his friends and family. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and riding motorcycles. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a big Auburn fan. Joe loved his country and the flag. He served his country with honor and believed that everyone should respect the flag and what it stands for. Joe was loved by so many and he will be missed. Pallbearers will be Robert Logan, Zach Frost, Jason Beasley, Kenneth Terry, Bobby Crowell, and Delaine Strickland. Honorary pallbearers are the Berry High School graduating class of 1976 and the associates of Dal-Tile Co.
