Johnny "Sluggo" Campbell

Johnny Wayne “Sluggo” Campbell, age 71, of Berry passed away, Thursday, January 4, 2018. Services will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Bozeman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery at Sterling. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Essie Irene Campbell; sister, Janice Marie; brothers, Glen Campbell and James Campbell; grandparents, Lewis and Della Swindle and Alvin and Rhoda Irene Campbell. Johnny “Sluggo” is survived by his wife, Jennifer Jordan Campbell of Berry; daughter, Diane DeDeaux (Gerald) of Berry; sons, Johnny Wayne Norris (April) of Kennedy and stepson, Joey Yartins (Tammy) of Berry; sister, Judy Campbell Kaiser (Melvin) of Berry; brothers, Roy Campbell (Cecelia) of Berry and Lloyd Dunn (Rose) of Mt. Vernon, TX; ten grandchildren, Kyle Vice, Courtney Moore, Danielle Brown, Dakota Norris, Sydney DeDeaux, Kara DeDeaux, Melody Yartins, James Yartins, Abby Moses and Alyssa Moses; and two great grandchildren, Kyliejo and Maci Moore. Pallbearers will be Nick and Roy Kaiser, Brian Campbell, Kyle Vice, Gerald DeDeaux and Joey Yartins.
