Johnny Smith

Johnny Smith, age 68 of Fayette passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Antioch Cemetery. The body will lie in state Monday, October 4, 2021 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home. He is survived by his cousin, JoAnn Higdon of Kennedy. Mr. Smith was born and raised in Fayette. He attended and graduated from Fayette County High School in 1972. He lived in the Beaver Creek Community until a tornado in 2001 came through and destroyed his home. He moved into Fayette and became a resident of Yester Oaks Apartments.
