On September 26, 1993, Joseph Alexander Freeman IV was born to Kim Love and Joseph Freeman, in Birmingham, Alabama. Joey was the oldest child of three boys! Joey attended Northington Elementary, Eastwood Middle School, & Paul W. Bryant High School! He received his high school diploma from Bryant High School in 2013, where he played a sport he absolutely loved, football. Joey accepted Christ at a young age! After knowing his sickness would prevent him from continuing his football career, Joey developed & discovered his singing voice, which led him to produce and record his very own original music. He finally could put all the years of dancing music videos, his Aunt Tiffany Jiles made him watch, to great use! And boy, could he sing and perform! Joey broke the all-boys curse and blessed his mother, Kim Love, with a beautiful grandbaby, Journee Grace, in May of 2022. Joey was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, at a young age, but continued chasing his dreams until the end! Joey lived by his slogan "I'm 1 type, type1!" Joey passed on September 1, 2022, in Dallas Texas. Preceding Joseph in death are his great grandparents: Willie Lee and Gaynell Nolden, Joseph and Lauretta Freeman; his grandmothers, Barbara Jiles and Vessie T.
