Mr. Kelonnie Hughes, age 36 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at UAB. Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2023, from 12:00 to 5:00 at Norwood Wyatt Chapel. Services for Mr. Hughes will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Hughes will lie in state one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Fayette Memorial Gardens. Kelonnie Martell Hughes began his life’s journey on December 7, 1986. He departed this life on January 3, 2023. Kelonnie Leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Lena Faye Hughes; his father, James Kelly Monroe (Vanessa); his loving and devoted companion, Alexa Stewart; one son, Keylan Hughes; two daughters, Tia and McKenna Hughes; a bonus daughter, Marleigh Stewart; two brothers, Keon Hughes (Kiarrah), Keithon Kinnie; a cousin like a brother, Kenneth Hughes; a sisters, Ashonti Mornea Englsih; 5 aunts, Joicy Lene Lark, Gloris Rahmaan, Shirley Young, Gwendelyn Nalls, Mary Stowe; a great uncle, Willie Monroe (Regina), 10 nieces and nephews with one special niece, Kaliyah, a special nephew, Keyshaun, special loved ones, Michael Hill, Tianna Bell and a host of cousins and friends.
