James Larry Posey

James Larry Posey, age 64, of Northport, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Services will be Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Buhl Church of God with Bro. David Kelly. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. James Floyd Posey. Mr. Posey is survived by his wife, Pamela Stephens Posey of Northport; sons, James Stephen Posey (Kristen) of Gordo and Christian Lee Posey (Michelle) of Northport; daughter, Billie Nicole Woodard (Dusty) of Northport; sister, Ronna Payne (Wally); brothers, Jerry Posey (Sheila), Roy Posey (Vanessa), Matthew Posey, and Michael Posey (Dee); mother, Fay Posey; grandchildren, Kaden Posey, Kolten Posey, Leigh Anna Posey, Charleigh Woodard, Madilynn Posey, and Eli Woodard. Larry was born September 22, 1956, to Rev. James Posey and Fay Posey. He was a loving and devoted husband, Father, and Poppy. Pallbearers are Jeff Skinner, Gary Herron, Tim Robertson, Larry Findley, Larry Woods, Gary Templeton, JB Tyra, and Kent Burns.
