Leon Nolden

Leon Nolden, age 69, of Bankston, passed away, Sunday, January 21, 2018. Visitation will be Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home. His service will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at New Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Carthell Nalls officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Nolden Sr, and Rosetta Nolden; son, Dwayne Nolden; grandparents, Marshall and Ethel Nolden and Luther and Beaulah Guin. Leon is survived by his daughter, Toya Richardson of Waukegan, IL; sisters, Rosemary Nolden Love (Danny) of Nashville, TN and Elease Savage of Muskegon, MI; brothers, Alexander Nolden (Jeanette) of Blytheville, AR, Marvin Nolden of Chicago, IL and Timothy Nolden of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Glenn Wright, I’mani Sellers and Vercia Sellers; and great grandchildren, Miles and Mason. Pallbearers are Willie Dell Nolden, George Nolden, Millard Waldrop, Allen Waldrop, Daryl Wilson and Ronald Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are his cousins. Honorary flower bearers are his cousins as well.
