Louis Guy Deavours II (1955 – 2018), born in Hollywood, FL, age 63 of Bankston, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2018 at home. Services will be Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Guy Deavours, and mother, Ruth M. Deavours. He is survived by his sisters, Debra A. Garcia and Sandra G. Pujol, son, Darius Deavours, daughter, Jerisha Dunaway, granddaughters, Cyann, Kya, and Mattie Dunaway, nephews, Tony Garcia and Frank Pujol, and niece, Rachel Pujol Jackson. Guybo, as he was known by his family and friends, was a loving father and brother who selflessly devoted his life to his family and especially to the care of his mother, Ruth. Guybo was a role model for his children and grandchildren and instilled in them strong moral values and principles to pass on to their own children. He was known in the community as a good neighbor, honest, and hardworking. Someone who was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Guybo will forever be missed by those whose lives he touched. May God hold him and keep him in his warm, loving embrace.
