Mae Nell "Swindle" Wright

Mae Nell "Swindle" Wright, age 85 of Fayette AL, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at her residence. Services for Mrs. "Swindle" Wright will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.

Mae Nell "Swindle" Wright is preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Susie Brasher, brothers; Sidney Brasher, and Alfred Brasher, and sister; Mary Ann Garner.

She is survived by her son; Scott (Karla) Swindle of Fayette AL, sisters; Carolyn Aldridge of Fayette AL, Dana Lou Kimbrell of Fayette AL, and Gail Anthony of Fayette AL, grandchildren; Ashlie (Justin) Halbrook of Fayette AL, and Matthew Swindle of Fayette AL, and great-grandchildren; Natalie Halbrook of Fayette AL, and Kash Halbrook of Fayette AL.

Mae Nell "Swindle" Wright was born May 20, 1939, in Fayette AL. She spent her entire life in Fayette AL. She spent most her time at home around her family and friends just enjoying the beauty of life and outdoor activities. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Aldridge, Randall Aldridge, Mark Brasher, Michael Hocutt, and Derek Anthony.
