Martha (Marty) Othelia Walker, Mom, Nanny, whichever you called her- was loved by each that knew her. Marty was a phenomenal homemaker, baker, wife, mother, grandmother, and an example of how to love, and how to live like Christ. Marty was born and raised in Berry AL, and resided in Northport AL, alongside Mel Walker, her husband of 57 wonderful years. Two weeks after marrying Mel, he was sent to active duy for the Navy, and she raised their children, John and Jennifer, while doing more than her share struggling out the American Dream together. Marty never grew old; she believed you do not grow old from living a certain number of years, but from abandoning your dreams.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Trae Conner,L.J. Hagler, Alex Ray, and John Walker.
