Mary "Angie" Rainey

Mary Angeline “Angie” Rainey, age 77 of Fayette passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Rainey will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Wyatt Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior and burial will follow at Fayette Memorial Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Woemack Rainey; sisters, Brenda Sullivan, Laeuna McCaleb; brothers, Leon Duckworth, Donald Duckworth, Dewayne Duckworth; parents, Hobert Duckworth and Jewel Gilpin Duckworth.

She is survived by her husband, Woemack Rainey; sisters, Kat Sprinkle, Doris Johnson, Willie Mae Taylor (Gary), Edna McCullough, Jennette Hester, Annette Moore (Dennis), Linda Jordan; and brother, Ronald Duckworth.

To my sweet wife, for 61 years I have loved you more each day. God called you home for a reason – to use your pretty voice in heaven. Baby, no more pain. Love you baby.
