Maxie Holloway, Jr.

Maxie Holloway, Jr., age 69 of Northport, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. The family will have a private service. He was preceded in death by Maxie Ramsey Holloway Sr., Mildred Azell Holloway and Edward Holloway. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Owens Holloway; daughters, Elaine Holloway Strickland of Northport, and Ashley Holloway Gibson of Tuscaloosa, step-daughters, Kimberly McGuire Holloway of Tuscaloosa, and Ashley McGuire Wilks of Birmingham; sons, Max Robert Holloway of Northport, AL; brother, Valcus Holloway; grandchildren, Dalton Strickland, Andrew Strickland, Hayden Strickland, Treavor Gibson, Mason Gibson, Bradyn Holloway, Emma Holloway, Taylor Crute, Madison Cummings, Sam Harwood, Gracie Wilks, Isabella Wilks and Lucy Wilks. Maxie Ramsey Holloway, Jr. was born in Newton, Mississippi on March 17, 1953. He grew up in Buhl, AL and was very well known throughout the commercial and residential HVAC industries. Max loved spending time with his wife, children and many grandchildren. Music was a big part of his life. He loved playing guitar.
