Perry dedicated his life to serving families in East MS and West Alabama through his compassionate work in the funeral industry for over 36 years. Those who worked with Perry knew him as a strong, directing figure and those who lived with Perry knew him as a loving caretaker. Perry was a master at balancing these two acts, so that he could provide for his family while setting an example for the kids that he was raising. Many of his friends will remember Perry as a funny, courageous individual. Perry’s personality was the perfect fit for the man that he was. He had to be strong, loving, affirmative, but also forgiving. He set an excellent example for the guys that worked with him. Being a funeral director is not an easy job, but Perry handled it with grace and courage. In addition to his career, Perry was a loving father who cherished spending time with his family. Though Perry has left us, his legacy of kindness, compassion, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. The love and care he extended to others in their time of need will continue to resonate reminding us to carry forward his spirit of generosity and grace.
