Rachel Sue Morris

Rachel Sue Morris, age 87, of Berry passed away November 23, 2019 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be Monday, November 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Bozeman and Rev. Major Bailey officiating.  Burial will follow at Flatwoods Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents; Wilson and Essie Barrentine; husband, James Morris; and sisters, Reba Christian, Olivia Martin, and Shelba Kaski. Survivors include her children, Tim Morris (Faye), Danny Morris (Debbie), Susan Norris (Sonny), and Mike Morris (Donna); sister, Mavis Osborne; brother, Charles “Sonny” Barrentine; grandchildren, Brandy Beem (Jon), Chad Morris (Holly), Victoria Morris, Jordan Morris, Jamie Lauters (Tyler), Kyle Morris, and Wesley Norris; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kyle Morris, Phillip Amerson, Chad Morris, Allen Norris, Shane Barrentine, Joe Earnest, and Tommy Housch. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and staff of Hospice of West Alabama. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warriors or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
