Robert Steve Wyatt, age 80 of Tuscaloosa, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church with Bro Drew Dockery and Dr. Billy Joy officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Interment will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2020 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornell and Nellie Wyatt; brother, Ronald Wyatt; and his wonderful friend, Don Kyzer. Survivors include his wife, the love of his life, Shirley Wyatt; daughter, Tammy Graham (Roger); sons, Shane Wyatt (Christy) and Tim Dillard (Yvonne); sister, Sarah Spencer; brothers, Harold Wyatt (Joan) and Ferral Wyatt (Celeste); grandchildren, Adam Graham (Stephanie), Andrew Dillard (Megan), Harrison Dillard, Jordan Joy (Stephen), and Jaxon Wyatt. Tuesday March 10th Steve Wyatt left this earth and stepped into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He left behind a legacy of faith that spreads all over this nation and world. The lives he has touched are too many to count. His service to Christ was unprecedented. The words that he would want said are simple “If you don’t know who Jesus is, you need to.” Pallbearers will be Jaxon Wyatt, Adam Graham, Andrew Dillard, Chad Wyatt and Lance Wyatt, grandsons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are members of Steve Wyatt’s Sunday School Class, the wonderful staff of Dunkin’s Pharmacy and Dural Guy. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
