Roger Dale Swindle, age 71 of Berry AL, passed away on Thursday, May 02, 2024, in Columbus MS. Services for Mr. Swindle will be Tuesday, May 07, 2024, at Elm Grove Church of God in Carbon Hill AL, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Townley AL. Bro. Lynell Early will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.
Roger Dale Swindle also known as Buck was born in Townley AL in August of 1952, to the Parents of Marie and Odell Swindle. He was married to his beloved wife Sue Davis Swindle in October of 1972. Buck and Sue settled down on Pea Ridge Road in Berry AL. They were blessed with three children, Johnny, Jennifer and Lisa. Buck loved to hunt and fish and took pride in raising a Garden. He retired from Warrior River Steel where he worked for many years. He was a good Provider for his family and he was loyal without fail.

He is Survived by his loving devoted wife of 51 years, Sue Swindle. His daughters Jennifer Key (Barry Key) and Lisa Tomlin (Jonathan Tomlin). His grandchildren Austin Key, Kalie Key, Alyssa Tomlin and Shawn Tomlin. His sisters Barbara Ann Zanetti (Silvano) Shirly Johnson (Tommy) Debra Hinds (Allen) Donna Darty (Danny) his Sister in Law Judy Swindle and his brother Billy Swindle (Linda) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Johnny Dale Swindle, his parents Marie and Odell Swindle, his sister Dorothy Hallbrook, and his brother Ronald Swindle.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pam Posey, as she has lovingly provided the flowers for the family.
