Sandra Gean Blackburn Stallworth, age 61 of Fayette AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at her residence. Services for Mrs. Stallworth will be Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel, at 2:00 p.m. She will Lie in State one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Fayette Memorial Gardens. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service. 

Sandra Gean Blackburn Stallworth was born on October 30, 1962, to the late Freddie Walker and her mother, Eloise Blackburn in Fayette, AL. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at her residence.

Sandra was a caring mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with them. But most of all, she loved the Lord and reading the Bible.

Cooking was her passion and calling everyone over to eat. She worked at Fayette Medical Center DCH as a Dietary Aid and was a graduate of Fayette County High School. Sandra enjoyed fishing whenever she had the chance.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Ida Bell Blackburn and Willie (June Bug) Hardy; father, Freddie Walker; sister, Cathy Marie Blackburn, and grandson, Jerique Tyrell Blackburn.

Sandra leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Eloise Blackburn of Fayette, AL; two sons: Jerry (Brook) Blackburn of Berry, AL, and Thomas Stallworth of Fayette, AL; one daughter, Shannon Denise Stallworth of Fayette, AL; the father of her children, Thomas Stallworth of Guin, AL; four sisters: Mary Jean Blackburn, Judy Blackburn Billups both of Fayette, AL, Jante Dixon Smith of Kennedy, AL, Sabrina Blackburn Mikesell of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: James L. Blackburn of Fayette, AL and Roylee (Kim) Blackburn of Bazemore; 12 grandchildren: Jyra, Kason, Finn, Kollins, Nash, Krew Blackburn, Tamarious, Bryce, Aiden, Aaliyah, and Crim Rose Stallworth, and Kingston Moore; one great grandson, Kyln Burks and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
