Sandra Stephenson

Sandra Stephenson, age 69 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019. Services will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Darryl Ballew, Pastor Josh Ballew, and Pastor Philip Larsen officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Berea Church of Christ Cemetery in Hubbertville. She was preceded in death by sisters, infant Jaquelyn Whitehead and Kathy Whitehead Watkins; and brother, Jody Spanfellner. Mrs. Stephenson is survived by her loving husband, Doug Stephenson; daughter, Sonya Ballew (Darryl); son, Chad Stephenson (Mandie); grandchildren, Josh Ballew (Kaitlyn), Sarah Grace Larsen (Philip), Mollee Tyree (Blake), Carregan Stephenson, Mary Kate Ballew, and Sawyer Stephenson; and great grandchildren, Carter Larsen, Ella Grace Larsen, Eva Ballew, Aspen Tyree, Eden Reese Tyree (May 2019) and Joshua Ayden Ballew (June 2019). Mrs. Sandra retired after working for thirty years at Moore’s Gifts and Flowers. She loved her God, her family, her church, and her friends and the beauty of flowers. Mrs. Stephenson was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Pallbearers will be Sawyer Stephenson, Blake Tyree, Noah Colburn, Jeremy Wright, Rodney Ramsey, and Marty Gilreath.
