Victoria Beard

Victoria Beard, 21, of Fayette AL, passed away December 13, 2020 at DCH Medical Center. Services will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel with Rev. Floyd Rogers officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fayette Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Eleanor Watson; and her stepfather, Marcus Watson. Survivors include her mother, Lavon Watson; her sister, Sharmaine Tyra; her brothers, Romeo Beard, Pierre Beard, and Deonte Watson; her grandmother, Shirley Watson; her nephew, Jatavion Tyra; and her significant other Dawson Miller. Victoria Octavia Beard wa sborn on June 17, 1999, to Lavon Watson of Winfield. Victoria gave her life to Christ at an early age. She joined First Baptist Church when she was a teenager. Victoria had a very outgoing personality and her smile would light up the room. Victoria loved music and loved to dance. Pallbearers are Patrick Harris, Cody Watkins, Tavis Shackelford, Dartavious "Spank" Wilson, Takeo Brock, and Shon Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be the class of 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
