William “Larry” Lee, age 76 of Coaling, passed away May 6, 2021 at DCH Medical Center. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. at Shepherd Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Herb Thomas officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel on Tuesday. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Ruth Lee; brothers, Dwight, Olen, and Glen; sisters, Judy, Sheila, and Sharon; and son, Robert. Survivors include his wife, Pamela Lee; daughter, Lacey Lee Borden (Kalon); sons, Eugene Lee and Carson Lee; sisters, Jo Ann Junkin and Kathy Harris (William); brother, Jerry Lee (Donna); grandchildren, Brad Lee (Katie), Garth Lee (Morgan), Brianna Lee, James Lee; and great granddaughters, Blaire Lee and in October, Charlie Joe Lee. Larry Lee proudly served over 31 years at the Tuscaloosa Police Department, worked at Shelton State Community College for 20 years, was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Navy, and was also in the National Guard. He was a loving, caring, and selfless husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family and friends and brought joy to those around him through his thoughtful actions and warm sense of humor. He will be greatly missed, but we are thankful to know that he is healed and rejoicing in Heaven. Pallbearers will be Chief Ken Swindle, Rodney Junkin, Jeff Davis, Anthony Carr, Brad Lee, and Garth Lee.
