Wynelle Matthews

Wynelle Matthews, age 100 of Mobile AL, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at her residence. There will be a memorial service at First Baptist Church in Mobile AL. Time will be announced at a later date. Bro. Trey Doyle will be officiating the service. 

Wynelle Matthews is preceded in death by her husband; Col. Ira V. Matthews. 

She is survived by her daughters; Margaret M. Mangham of Mobile AL, and Elizabeth M. Flott of Mobile AL. 

Wynelle was born in Fayette AL in 1924. She graduated at Fayette County High School and attended Auburn University for two years. She married Ira. V. Matthews and lived the life of an Air Force wife living many places across the USA. She had two daughters Margaret and Elizabeth. All family settled in Mobile AL. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mobile. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
