Shelia Courington

Ms. Shelia Courington,age 55 of Northport, died Monday, October 29, 2012 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 1st at 1:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Hill cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00-1:00. Shelia was born July 6, 1957 in Fayette County, the daughter of the late George and Mary Ezelle Stines. She was a resident of the Fayette and Berry area most of her life. She formerly worked for Arvin Automotive Industries. Survivors include one daughter, Kim (Jeremy) Jones of Northport; a step-daughter, Christy (Shane) Watkins and one step-son, Tommie (Jessica) Courington of Berry; two sisters, Judy Baines and Brenda (Johnny) Dunn of Northport; one grandson, Cooper Jones; four step-grandchildren, Kyle and Chelsea Stough, Nick Holmes and Cody Burkett. Pallbearers are Matt Robins, Johnny Dunn, Kevin Dunn, Scott Connell, Kyle Stough and Jeff Lancaster.
