Mrs. Elizabeth Curington, age 65 of Berry, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Pea Ridge Community Church with Rev. Adam Darty and Rev. Ron Collett officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 12 -1 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Curington was born October 25, 1947 in Fayette County, the daughter of the late Luthur and Ruth Aldridge Studdard. She was a life-long resident of Berry. She attended Berry High School and was a member of the Pea Ridge Community Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Curington and one brother, Carl Studdard. Survivors include two sons, Phillip (Chasity) Curington and Kris (Chelsea) Curington of Berry; one sister, Edith Kimbrell of Birmingham; one brother, Charles (Anna Laura) Studdard of Berry; six grandchildren, Megan Stephens, Tyler Curry, Amber Curington, Steven Smith, Ella Kate Curington, and John Wayne Curington.
