Bobby Cargile

Mr. Bobby Cargile, age 79 of Fayette, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Fayette Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Bro. Carl Porter and Bro Randy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilgrim Rest cemetery. The visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Cargile was born November 11, 1934 in Fayette, the son of the late Felix and Hattie Bobo Cargile. He was a life-long resident of Fayette and a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Mr. Cargile was a member of the Alabama National Guard and retired in 1990. He was formerly employed with the Fayette County Commissioner for over 35 years and retired in 1997. Survivors include his wife, Maudeen Cargile of Fayette; Sister, Betty McMahan of Waco, TX and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Bobby Mills, John A. Jones, Josh Cargile,Jerry Barnes, Bill Robertson and Tim Bobo. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Fred Yerby, Dr. Ariel Anguiano, Nurses and Staff of Fayette Medical Center and Bobby’s home care givers.
