Frankie Joe Courington

Mr. Frankie Courington, age 59 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, September, 23, 2010 at DCH Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the Word of Life Church near Flatwoods with Bro. Charles Segrest officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Patton Hill cemetery in Walker County. Survivors include two daughters, Tonya and Crystal; one son, Frankie,Jr.; two step-daughters, Sabrina and Chasity; one step-son, Randy; six sisters, Myrtle (Terry) Nuckols, Willodean Herald, Elizabeth Louise (Ralph) Justus, Peggy (Frank) Hurley, Catherine (Jimmy) Dunn and Emma Dean (Earl) Pendley and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Aaron Courington and Myrtle Irene Robbins Courington; two brothers and three sisters. Norwood Chapel of Fayette directing.
