Joldine Croxell

Joldine Pennington Cross Croxell was found deceased on April 7, 2018 at her residence in Fayette. She was born on March 26, 1950 to Sula and Clyde Pennington. Mrs. Croxell attended Talladega School for the Deaf and Blind. She lived her sixty-eight years in the rural Fayette community along side other extended family. Two of her other siblings, Eugene and Freida Mae Pennington, also attended Talladega School for the Deaf and Blind.  Mrs. Croxell is currently married to Ivan Croxell and has six surviving children, Jeanette “Jenni” Pate, Annie Howell (Kenny), Kay Piper (Red), Sue Moore (Mickey), Gina Croxell, and Bruce (Karen) Croxell.  She is also survived by her oldest sibling, Lois Frazier. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Sula Pennington; three brothers, Eugene Pennington, J.B. Pennigton, and Willis Pennington; two sisters, Jeweldine Pennington and Freida Mae Young. Services will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at El Bethel Buncombe Cemetery.
