Sharon Hamner Curry, age 62 of Fosters, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021. Services will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Sylvan Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Smith and Rev. Wade Hamner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Curry; granddaughter, Jaisa Hansen; brother, Bobby Hamner; mother, Margaret Hamner and father, Robert Hamner; and best friend, TJ Shelton. Mrs. Curry is survived by her daughters, April Hansen, Amanda Waller, and stepdaughter, Jennifer Rushing; stepson, Bill; brother, Wade Hamner (Shelly); grandchildren, Paisley, Hunter, Ashley, Gabe, William, Christopher, Josh, Elijah, and Ariyan. Sharon Curry was born and raised in Fosters, AL. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother and an amazing friend. She loved her parents, siblings, kids and friends. She loved to grow vegetables in her garden and to any kind of activities outside. Mrs. Curry also loved her home which her and her husband built from the ground up. She was a wonderful grandmother as well. Pallbearers are Moody Burns, Danny Hydrick, Chico Alfinez, Hunter Franklin, Josh Shelton and Brandon Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are friends of the Fosters and Ralph Community.
