Tommy Norwood was born in Fort Payne, Al., the son of Augustus T. and Marcie Norwood. Tommy is a licensed funeral director and licensed practical embalmer. He trained under his father to learn the art of embalming and funeral service. He began his funeral career in Guin, Alabama. He moved to Fayette, Al. in 1977 to be the manager of Norwood Chapel. Tommy has over 35 years of experience in the funeral profession. Tommy is a past president of the Alabama Funeral Directors Association. He served as Coroner in Fayette County for 16 years. Former president of the Fayette Jaycees served as chairman of the Fayette County Heart Association Fund Drive. He is a member and former president of the Fayette Exchange Club and a member of the Kawanis Club in Fayette.

Doug Stephenson joined the staff of Norwood-Wyatt Chapel in 2006. Doug was born and raised in Fayette. He and his wife Sandra are members of the Fayette Assembly of God Church. Doug serves as an assistant funeral director. Doug's Christian compassion for families during their difficult times makes him a true asset to Norwood-Wyatt Chapel.
